You know those moments when someone says, “Can you just bring a little appetizer?” and you instantly go into panic mode because what does that even mean?! That’s where these Antipasto Skewers swoop in like the appetizer heroes they are. They’re flavorful, no-fuss, and so easy to pull together that you’ll feel like a gourmet genius with zero stress!

I love this appetizer because I can whip it up with just a quick trip to the store—even if it’s one of those days where I forgot the party was today. It's my go-to because it’s endlessly customizable. My son is all about the hard salami and green olives, while my daughter swears by black olives. So of course, I make both! I'm not here to start an olive war!
These skewers are chef’s kiss for summer BBQs, backyard wine nights, holiday spreads, and especially Christmas—the red cherry tomatoes and white mozzarella are basically Mother Nature’s holiday color scheme. So festive, so cute, and so dang tasty.
Here’s what you need:
- 17 large olives (green, black, Kalamata—go wild!)
- ½ lb deli-style hard salami (thinly sliced)
- 12 oz marinated mozzarella balls (the ones soaked in herby olive oil—YUM)
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes
- Large toothpicks or small skewer sticks (these are your fancy swords of flavor)

Directions:
Grab a skewer and start strong with an olive.

Fold a slice of salami in half, then in half again (so it’s cute and curly), and slide it on under the olive.

Next up, add a marinated mozzarella ball.

Finish with a juicy cherry tomato.

Repeat until you’ve got a tray full of beautiful bites.

Serve immediately, or pop them in the fridge until party time!
Tips & Tricks:
- Switch it up: Try prosciutto, pepperoni, or even roasted red pepper slices if salami isn’t your thing.
- Cheese, please: No marinated mozz? Use plain fresh mozzarella and drizzle a little Italian dressing or olive oil + herbs.
- Go big: Want to make a platter instead of skewers? Just arrange the ingredients in pretty little piles or rows on a big board. Instant charcuterie vibes!
- Skewer magic: If you want more of a “meal on a stick” thing, use longer wooden skewers and double up the ingredients.
Trust me, once you make these, they’ll be your go-to too. They're a flavor-packed lifesaver you can always count on—just like that one friend who actually brings wine and a corkscrew.
