I thought that you would like to see what I got, how much it was per piece and then what it would costs if we got it from Amazon! I have Amazon Prime so I don't pay shipping!
Big Box of Washi Tape
- Cost per piece - $.39 per roll
- Cost on Amazon - $9.99
- Notes - This seemed like a good value, saved about 40% off the cost from Amazon!
Metal Hand
- Cost per piece - $4.96
- Cost on Amazon - $16.99
- Notes - This one is a good quality and super cheap from Temu compared to the price on Amazon!
Transparent Postits
- Cost per piece - $.008
- Cost on Amazon - $5.99
- Notes - I haven't used these yet, but they seem to be what I ordered and are MUCH cheaper on Temu!
Newsprint Washi
- Cost per piece - $2.87
- Cost on Amazon - $2.59 per roll (wasn't sold separately)
- Notes - This one was cheaper on Amazon!
Tiny Jump Rings
- Cost per piece - $.004
- Cost on Amazon - $7.99 for 970 pieces various sizes
- Notes - I would get the variety pack on Amazon rather than ordering these tiny jump rings again!
Mini Heart Paper Clips
- Cost per piece - $.04
- Cost on Amazon - $3.99
- Notes - Ohhhhhh, this is a tough one! I think you could go either way on this one!
Large Brads
- Cost per piece - $.12
- Cost on Amazon - $7.99 for 50 pieces
- Notes - I think I would pay a bit more for the Amazon ones... the Temu ones were pretty cheaply made!
From the kitchen of… didn't order
- Cost per piece - $1.78
- Cost on Amazon - NA
- Notes - I did not get this, but I did get some kind of weird "from the kitchen of" thing. This has happened numerous times even when I was ordering from Ali Express. Random things happen!
Belly clips
- Cost per piece - $.01
- Cost on Amazon - $4.59
- Notes - Definitely would get these on Temu!
Book Corners
- Cost per piece - $.07
- Cost on Amazon - About $4.00 for 12
- Notes - I would for sure get these on Temu!
Colored Tabs
- Cost per piece - $.11
- Cost on Amazon - Couldn't find on there.... looks to be about $7.99 for round ones
- Notes - I would get these on Temu!
Postcard Translucent
- Cost per piece - $.21
- Cost on Amazon - Couldn't find on Amazon
- Notes - I wouldn't get these again. Even at this low price I don't feel like these are a value.
Large Translucent Sheets
- Cost per piece - $.35
- Cost on Amazon - $9.99
- Notes - This is a tough one! I really like the set from Temu, but it does seem like there are good options on Amazon for maybe even a little lower price.
Bee charms
- Cost per piece - $.09
- Cost on Amazon - $8.99
- Notes - This one is super easy... Temu won by a mile! Great selection and good quality!
Ordering Craft Supplies From Temu Wrapup
I hope this exercise gave you some info about whether you might want to order from Temu or not!
I know some of the gals are on a fixed budget so this may be a way to get craft supplies for a lower cost!
My final result is, I would order much of the metal bits again, and would tend to get more of the transparent papers or washi tape from Amazon or other US retailers!
