Red White & Blue Fudge Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk
  • Red and blue food coloring
  • 1-2 tablespoons star sprinkles

Baking Equipment

  • Double boiler (or a heatproof bowl set over a saucepan of simmering water)
  • Medium bowl
  • Silicone spatula
  • Parchment paper
  • 8×8 inch baking dish
  • Sharp knife

Patriotic Fudge Instructions (Printable Recipe Below)

Prep the Pan: Line your 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper, leaving a bit of overhang on two sides. This will make it easier to lift the fudge out later.

Melt the Chocolate: Set up your double boiler. If you don't have one, simply place a heatproof bowl over a saucepan with a couple inches of simmering water (make sure the bottom of the bowl doesn't touch the water). Add the white chocolate chips to the bowl and stir gently until completely melted and smooth.

Combine with Milk: Remove the melted white mixture from the heat. Stir in the sweetened condensed milk until fully incorporated.

Add Color: Drop 2 drops of red food coloring and 2 drops of blue food coloring into the mixture. Gently swirl with a spatula, creating a marbled effect of red, white, and blue. Don't overmix!

Memorial Day Dessert Idea: No-Bake Patriotic Fudge

Pour and Decorate: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan. Immediately sprinkle with star sprinkles, gently pressing them into the July fudge recipe to ensure they stick.

Red, White, & Blue Fudge: A Festive No-Bake Treat

Chill and Cut: Place the square pan in the freezer for 30 minutes, or until the fudge is firm. Lift the fudge out of the pan using the parchment paper overhang. Cut into 36 squares using a sharp knife.

Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 10 minutes
Additional Time 30 minutes
Total Time 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 3 cups white chocolate chips
  • 1 - 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
  • Red and blue food coloring
  • 1-2 tbsp Star sprinkles

Instructions

    1. Line your pan with parchment paper for ease of taking out and cutting the finished fudge.
    2. Melt the chocolate using the double boiler method. I find this method to be best for white chocolate, so that it doesn’t harden.
    3. Pour the sweetened condensed milk into the melted chocolate.
    4. Add 2 each drops of red and blue food coloring, then pour the fudge mixture into the pan. It will swirl as you’re pouring, and get all 3 colors in there beautifully.
    5. Top with sprinkles, and gently press them into the fudge.
    6. Freeze for 30 minutes, remove from freezer, then lift up on the parchment paper and the fudge will come right out.
    7. Cut into 36 squares.

Tips and Variations

  • For a more intense color, you can add a few more drops of food coloring.
  • Feel free to use any type of patriotic sprinkles you like for on top of the fudge.
  • If you don't have a double boiler, you can melt the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth. Be careful not to overheat the chocolate.
  • Store leftover fudge in an airtight container or covered in plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to a week.
