With one of my littles having an egg allergy, I’ve always got my radar up for fun treats that everyone can enjoy - without the drama. These monster cookies are made with Nutter Butters (yep, they’re vegan!), a splash of spooky candy melts, and the cutest sprinkle mix I could find. The best part? The grandbabies go absolutely bananas decorating these - googly eyes flying everywhere, sprinkle chaos, and lots of giggles. And honestly? That’s the magic!
Why You’ll Love These:
- No baking required! (Thank you, snack gods!)
- Allergy-friendly and 100% vegan
- Perfect for little hands to help decorate
- Done in 20 minutes flat!
- SO ridiculously cute, it’s scary
You’ll Need:
- Small heat-safe bowl
- Spoon
- Measuring cups & spoons
- Parchment paper
- Baking sheet or tray
Ingredients (Serves 6):
- 6 Nutter Butter cookies
- ⅓ cup light green candy melts
- 1–2 tablespoons “Eye of Newt” sprinkle mix

How To Make 'Em:
Line your tray or baking sheet with parchment paper - this is your spooky staging area.
Melt the green candy melts in a heat-safe bowl according to the package directions (usually microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between).
Dip the top half of each Nutter Butter into the melted candy goo - this is Frankie’s face!

Set each cookie on the parchment paper and go WILD with the sprinkles and candy eyeballs. One eye, two eyes, sideways eyes - there are no rules in Monster Town!

Let them sit for about 10 minutes to set (pop them in the fridge if you’re impatient like me).

Serve, share, and prepare for giggles and sugar highs!

Storage:
Keep these cuties in an airtight container on the counter. They’ll stay fabulous for a few days (if they even last that long—ours never do!)
Tips & Tricks:
- Use different color candy melts for a whole monster crew! Purple vampires? Orange pumpkins? Yes please.
- Let the kids mix and match eyeballs and sprinkles—it’s the perfect Halloween activity + snack combo.
- Want a spooky platter? Pair these with some ghost strawberries or mummy pretzels for a full haunted snack board.
