If you love the scents of hotels, you might be enchanted by this essential oils dupe from the Hotel Costes in Paris! Includes recipe to make this at home in your diffuser!
I have been on a mission to make essential oils dupes for some of the biggest hotels in the world and today's scent is the Hotel Costes in Paris. It's this intoxicating blend of romance and mystery that just screams Parisian nights.
The Inspiration
Hotel Costes uses a scent that is a blend of roses, rich sandalwood, warm nutmeg, and spicy-sweet incense. That gave me a fantastic starting point for my DIY project!
My Hotel Costes Essential Oil Recipe
There are some amazing scents in this blend that I wouldn't have thought of to put together! My son loves Rose essential oil and this blend was his favorite!
- Floral Note – Rose essential oil
- Woody Note – Sandalwood essential oil
- Spice Notes – Nutmeg essential oil and Frankincense essential oil (for that “spicy-sweet incense” vibe)
Hotel Costes Essential Oils Diffuser Recipe
(This is my go-to recipe for my diffuser)
6 drops Rose essential oil
4 drops Sandalwood essential oil
3 drops Nutmeg essential oil
2 drops Frankincense essential oil
My Experience
This blend is absolutely divine! It's warm, sensual, and slightly mysterious, just like a Parisian evening.
The rose adds a touch of romance, the sandalwood provides a grounding base, and the nutmeg and frankincense create a warm, inviting atmosphere. It's perfect for setting the mood for a romantic dinner, a relaxing bath, or just a cozy night in!
To really enhance the Parisian atmosphere, I like to:
- Play some French café music.
- Light a few candles and dim the lights.
- Enjoy a glass of red wine and some cheese.
- It's like bringing a little piece of Paris into your own home!
