Have you ever stayed at a W Hotel and been completely captivated by their signature scent? It's this invigorating blend that instantly transports you to a world of chic relaxation. Since I'm a huge fan of essential oils, I decided to try my hand at recreating the scent myself. And let me tell you, it's easier than you might think!
The Inspiration:
The W Hotels Tuscan-inspired scent is a “zesty blend of uplifting bergamot, lemongrass, and laurel leaves” that evokes the feeling of being surrounded by “old stone farmhouses and upward-turned sunflowers.” That imagery alone was enough to get my DIY senses tingling!

Top Notes:
- Bergamot essential oil (bright and citrusy)
- Lemon essential oil (zesty and refreshing)
- Lemongrass essential oil (earthy and invigorating)

- Magnolia essential oil (floral and sweet)
- Jasmine essential oil (heady and romantic)
- Lily essential oil (delicate and fresh)
Base Notes:
- Koa Wood essential oil (warm and woody)
- Musk essential oil (soft and sensual)
W Hotel Essential Oils Recipe Blend
(This is my go-to diffuser blend, but feel free to adjust to your preference)
5 drops Bergamot essential oil
3 drops Lemon essential oil
3 drops Lemongrass essential oil
2 drops Magnolia essential oil
2 drops Jasmine essential oil
2 drops Lily essential oil
3 drops Koa Wood essential oil
1 drop Musk essential oil
How to Use:
Add the oils to your diffuser with water, and let the Tuscan sunshine fill your space!
