Honestly, I've been obsessed with finding out how to make hotel scents in our house. When I was public speaker I stayed at whatever hotel they booked me at so I have smelled A LOT of hotels and they are just so darn cool!

And there's just something about that signature Westin aroma that instantly melts away stress and makes me feel like I'm on vacation even when I am actually working! After a bit of research and experimentation, I landed on this amazing essential oils blend, and let me tell you, it's spot on!

Essential Oils For Westin Scent

There are a lot of oils in this scent and you don't need them all to make your house smell great, that said mix and match to try and get a scent you like!

I got a huge box of different essential oils for this project and have been trying to see which hotel scent I love the best… so far this is my favorite!

Top Notes

  • White Tea essential oil (I found mine online!)
  • Aloe Vera essential oil (a little goes a long way with this one)
  • Ginger essential oil (for a subtle zing)

Mid Notes

  • Cedarwood essential oil (gives it that grounding, woodsy feel)
  • Vanilla essential oil (adds a touch of sweetness)
  • Amber essential oil (for warmth and depth)

Base Notes

  • Lily essential oil (floral and delicate)
  • Sandalwood essential oil (creamy and calming)
  • Musk essential oil (sensual and long-lasting)

Westin Scent Essential Oils Recipe

This makes a small batch, perfect for a diffuser. Feel free to double or triple it!

5 drops White Tea essential oil
2 drops Aloe Vera essential oil
3 drops Ginger essential oil
4 drops Cedarwood essential oil
3 drops Vanilla essential oil
2 drops Amber essential oil
2 drops Lily essential oil
3 drops Sandalwood essential oil
1 drop Musk essential oil

How To Use This Blend

Simply add all the oils to your diffuser with the recommended amount of water. Within minutes, your home will be transformed into a calming oasis.

Pro Tip: I like to add a few drops of this blend to a cotton ball and tuck it into my linen closet to make my towels and sheets smell fancy too!
