You know what I love about Halloween (besides everything?) It’s the perfect excuse to turn totally normal foods into creepy-cute masterpieces. Like, why eat a boring cookie when you can eat an EYEBALL instead?

These Spooky Oreo Eyeballs are one of my go-to Halloween treats because they’re crazy easy, ridiculously fun to make, and let’s be honest - who doesn’t love an Oreo dressed up for Halloween? Kids flip for them, adults sneak extra off the tray, and everyone laughs when they realize their snack is staring back at them.
Oh, and if you’re like me and feel personally betrayed by how little filling is in regular Oreos these days (seriously, Nabisco, whyyy), trust me - Double Stuf is a must for this recipe. You need that fluffy white center to work your spooky snack magic.
Ingredients You’ll Need:
- 15 Double Stuf Oreo cookies
- Red gel icing
- Green gel icing
- 15 candy eyeballs

Let’s Get Eyeballin’:
Gently twist open each Oreo and set aside the filling side on a tray. You want that pretty white canvas intact and ready for eyeball art.

Squeeze a small dab of green gel icing into the center of the white filling. This is the iris of your edible eyeball - ooh, fancy!

Press a candy eyeball right into the center of the green icing. Spooky cuteness achieved.

Now grab your red gel icing and draw little red squiggly lines from the green iris out toward the edge of the cookie. These are the veins - and the more chaotic, the better. Think haunted sleep-deprived eyeball vibes!

And just like that, you’ve got a tray full of adorable, mildly terrifying, no-bake treats that’ll have everyone at your Halloween party saying, “OMG that’s so cute - and kinda gross - I LOVE IT!”

Creepy Little Tips:
- Want to go wild? Swap the green gel for blue or purple for a whole monster mash of eyeball colors!
- Serve them up on a bed of candy corn, or tuck a few onto a Halloween snack board for instant oooohs and ahhhhs.
- If your eyeballs start slipping, pop the tray in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to help everything set.
Oreo Eyeballs are proof that the best Halloween treats don’t have to be complicated. Sometimes all you need is a pack of cookies, some candy eyeballs, and a little bit of spooky creativity. And honestly? Watching your guests giggle as they bite into an eyeball is part of the fun!
