How To Make Cookie Monster Cookies
Preheat and Prep: Get your oven warmed up to 350 degrees F. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper.
Mix It Up: In your big bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, oil, and food coloring. Stir everything until a dough forms. It'll be a bit thick, so give those muscles a workout!
Save the Best for Last: Now, here's the fun part! Set aside 32 pieces of each: Oreo cookie chunks, Chips Ahoy chunks, and white chocolate chips. These are going to be Cookie Monster's eyes and mouth.
The Cookie Dough Monster: Mix the rest of the cookie pieces and chips into the dough.
Scoop and Drop: Use your cookie scoop to drop mounds of dough onto the baking sheet, leaving about 3 inches between each one.
The Finishing Touches: Gently press one piece of each type of cookie/chip into the top of each dough mound. This is where our Cookie Monster comes to life!
Bake Time: Slide that baking sheet into the oven and bake for 9-10 minutes. You'll know they're done when the edges are set and the tops are lightly golden.
Cool Down: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a couple of minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack to cool completely.
Cookie Monster Cookies Storage Tips
Keep these adorable cookies in an airtight container at room temperature. They'll stay fresh for a few days, but honestly, they probably won't last that long!
