💭 Why Did I Make These?
Okay bestie, confession time... I LOVE all the skeletons and bright colors in Day of the Dead art! 💀💖 Dancing skeleton couples in swirly rainbow skirts, catrinas wearing giant crowns of flowers, sugar skulls covered in hearts and swirls. It is such a vibe, and honestly this was one of the most fun sets I’ve ever put together.
What I love most is that Dia de los Muertos isn’t spooky at all. It’s a celebration of remembering the people we love, with marigolds, candles, music and so much color. That joyful energy is exactly what I wanted these pages to feel like.
For this kit, I combined my own creativity with some gorgeous images from Creative Fabrica. If you love making your own journal pages and printables, it’s one of my favorite places to find graphics that get my creative wheels turning. Then I layered, framed, cut and arranged everything into the sheets you see here!
💛 Why Are They Free?
Because sharing creativity makes my heart happy! 🥰 I’ve been blogging for a long time, and the best part has always been the community of crafters, junk journalers and paper lovers who show up to create together.
These freebies are my way of saying thank you for being here. If you’d like to help me keep making them, the sweetest things you can do are:

Every pin and share helps more creative souls find their way here, and that means the world to me!
🖨️ How to Print Them Out
A few tips to get your Day of the Dead printables looking their brightest:
- Paper: Use a bright white matte cardstock (65–110 lb) for tags, cards and focal images. For the round stickers and washi strips, print on full-sheet sticker paper and they’re ready to peel and stick!
- Printer settings: Choose “Best” or “High Quality” so those hot pinks and marigold oranges really pop. Select the paper type that matches what you’re using.
- Scaling: Print at 100% / Actual Size for standard letter-size sheets. Want smaller pieces for a pocket journal or ATCs? Scale down to 75–85%.
- Cutting: A craft knife and ruler work great for the long washi strips, and small sharp scissors are perfect for the scalloped and hexagon borders.
- Distressing: Run the edges along a dark ink pad (black or a deep plum looks amazing with these colors), or lightly sand the edges for a well-loved feel.
- Extras: Laminate the journaling cards to use as bookmarks, or add a dab of glitter glue to the sugar skull flowers for some sparkle! ✨
