🧼 What You’ll Need to Make Your Honey Swirl Soap Bars
Don’t worry, this is totally beginner-friendly. Like, “I’ve-never-even-held-a-soap-mold” friendly. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 lb shea butter melt and pour soap base
- 2 ½ tablespoons honey powder, divided

- Wooden craft stick for stirring
- 4-inch silicone loaf mold
- Spray bottle with rubbing alcohol (optional but helps reduce bubbles)
- Wavy soap cutter for that pretty artisan look

✨ How to Make Honey Swirl Soap Bars (aka Bee Magic in Action)
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Set Time: 2-3 hours
Makes: 4 one-inch bars
Chop & melt: Cut your soap base into 1-inch cubes and divide between the two measuring cups. Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring in between, until fully melted.

Mix honey powder: Stir 1 ½ tablespoons of honey powder into one of the cups of melted soap base. Leave the other plain for contrast.

Pour the base: Start by pouring a small amount of the plain soap into your mold - just enough to cover the bottom. Let it set for a few seconds.

Add the swirl: Pour a bit of the honey soap next, layering it over the plain. You’ll start seeing that swirl magic!

Sprinkle the sparkle: Dust a bit of the remaining honey powder across the surface to build texture and layers. Repeat the pour–sprinkle–pour–sprinkle pattern until you’ve used up both soaps.

Reheat if needed: If your soap starts to cool, just pop it back in the microwave for 10–15 seconds at a time.
Final swirl: Sprinkle any last honey powder on top like a golden crown 👑
Set & slice: Let the soap set undisturbed for 2–3 hours. Once firm, unmold and slice into 1-inch bars with your wavy cutter. Done and DONE.
