Seeing All The Wizard of Oz Tags & Tickets
I know I like to see the tags and tickets all together before deciding if I like them enough to download!
I love how cute they turned out and will be using them in my Wizard of Oz junk journal!
Includes. tons of free vintage images of the Cowardly Lion, Tin Man, Dorothy, The Scarecrow and Toto!
Why I Made These Tags and Tickets
I wanted to be able to give my peeps some cool Wizard of Oz freebies and this seemed like a super fun way to have extra bits to add to our journals and mixed media art pieces!
I am a junk journaler myself and also a graphic artist so sitting around getting to make cool things while I watch YouTube makes me pinch myself when I realize this is my “job”!
For this free printable project I used my creativity and images from the Gutenberg version of the public domain Wizard of Oz book!
Why Are They Free?
I am sure you are wondering right about now why I would give away something so cool for free!
These could probably sell on Etsy for at least a few bucks so why not sell them and make all the dollars, dollars, dollars?
Well first off, I love being able to make things that the peeps in my community love and ask for! AND I am so bless to have ads on my website so I can afford to take the time to make these for us!
And nope, you don't have to click the ads to help, but if you do want to help please share this page with your favorite Facebook group or Pin it Pinterest!
Free Commercial License For Printing
While these are public domain images, my version of them done this way is copyrighted as free for use commercially in printed items!
Here are a few ways that people have sold them in the past:
- Printed out and sold as whole collages sheets at a market
- Used as collage fodder in a junk journal for sale on Etsy
- Cut out and sold as a pack of gift tags
Functionally as long as you print them out first, there is no problem using these commercially!
There is no license for these digitally (if you want to share them with a friend, just send her a link to this page and she can get all the freebies for herself!)
Speaking of Copyright!
I have a huge respect for the copyright of others, just as I hope that everyone will respect mine! With that in mind, I thought I would address the elephant (or at least the ruby slippers) in the room…
The only copyright-free images available at this point in time are the ones from the original book by L. Frank Baum, illustrated by W. W. Denslow.
The slippers in the book are silver… the ruby ones are part of the movie and will not be out of copyright until 2035.
With that in mind, please know I try to make the very best junk journal supplies I can within the bounds of copyright!
How To Print The Collage Sheets!
I like to use a little bit heavier weight paper for tags and tickets… for these I will be using matte bright white card stock!
I have an Epson Ecotank ET-2800 printer. I like that you can refill it with just the liquids and not have all the plastic cartridges.
It is not the most expensive printer so sometimes it struggles on really big images, but it was affordable for printing out junk journal images good enough for me!
