- Vintage Numbers Grid - This one is such a standout! Inspired by retro game boards and bold blocky fonts, this green-on-black number sheet adds instant personality.
- Green Harlequin Diamond Pattern - Bold, crisp, and totally eye-catching. This green-and-white harlequin print has a mid-century-meets-circus feel.
- Polka Dot Party - Playful and perky, this pattern is full of layered green dots on a vintage cream background, with just enough grunge to feel old-school.
- Funky Retro Starburst Stripes - This one is a psychedelic dream - curving starbursts in mint and kelly green spiral outward like a 1960s vinyl cover.
- Stripes with a Twist - Classic green stripes in varying widths, with a touch of blush pink to soften the look. It’s the most “calm” of the bunch, but still full of personality.
Why Did I Make These?
I love St. Patrick’s Day - not just for the green, gold, and fun vibes, but because one of my best friends is actually Irish (like, from Ireland Irish). And let me tell you, if you ever say “St. Patty’s Day” around her… brace yourself! It's “Paddy,” thank you very much - because Patrick doesn’t shorten to Patty. (She’s not wrong.)
These backgrounds are a celebration of all the things I love about the holiday: fun, cheeky energy with a retro twist. I wanted bold greens, playful patterns, and a bit of vintage flair - something you can use whether you're crafting tags, collages, or journaling about your own St. Paddy’s Day memories.
Why Are They Free?
I believe creativity should be accessible - especially the kind that makes us smile. I make these designs for fun and share them for free so you can enjoy crafting without the pressure of perfection (or a price tag). Your art, your way!
For this set I used my own designs and color combinations.
How to Print Them Out
These backgrounds are designed to be printer-friendly and high quality. Here's how to get the best results:
- Paper Type: Use white cardstock for a sturdy, vibrant finish. Sticker paper works great too if you’re cutting pieces out.
- Print Size: Each page is a full 8.5x11" and can be scaled down if needed.
- Printer Settings: Use “best quality” and select “fit to page” if your printer tends to crop edges.
Commercial License for Printing
There is a commercial license for these freebies as long as you print them out first! Feel free to use them in junk journals for sale on Etsy, use them in scrapbook pages for sale at a craft fair or even sell the sheets whole. There is no license to distribute these digitally.

Let yourself play - and don’t forget to raise a glass to your Irish friends (but only after you've said it right: Paddy, not Patty!)
