DIY Bath Bomb Ingredients

  • ⅓ cup shea butter (nourishes and moisturizes)
  • ⅓ cup sweet almond oil (leaves skin feeling silky) – this is my favorite carrier oil for all my essential oils uses… you could also use jojoba oil or coconut oil!
  • ½ cup powdered milk (soothes and softens)
  • ¼ cup honey powder (adds a touch of sweetness and hydration)
  • Additional ¼ cup powdered milk for rolling (optional, but adds a lovely touch)

  • Heat-safe mixing bowl or measuring cup
  • Spoon

Directions To Make The Natural Bath Bombs

This is a super simple way to make organic bath bombs without harmful chemicals! It is the perfect combination of fast and easy!

Melt & Mix: First thing, in your heat-safe bowl, microwave the shea butter and sweet almond oil for 1 minute. Stir well, and if needed, microwave for another 30 seconds until everything is melted. Add the powdered milk and honey powder, stirring until you have a smooth liquid mixture (reserve some powdered milk for the end!)

Mold & Set: Next carefully spoon the mixture into your silicone mold. I usually fill about 10 cavities. Let these beauties air dry for a full 24 hours to harden.

Finishing Touch: Once they're solid, pop them out of the mold. For a touch of luxury, roll them in the extra powdered milk – it looks so pretty!
